Richard Yonck: Heart of the Machine
Richard Yonck is a futurist, author and speaker with a background in computer science and media studies. He helps clients identify future opportunities and challenges with a focus on leveraging that knowledge for future success. He’s formerly the computing and AI contributing editor for The Futurist Magazine and has been published by and quoted in the New York Times, Scientific American, Fast Company, World Future Review, Psychology Today, BBC News, Investor’s Business Daily and many others. A member of the Association of Professional Futurists and the National Association of Science Writers, he’s also a TED speaker and lives in Seattle.
Richard will read from and discuss his new book, “Heart of the Machine”, which explores the future of artificial emotional intelligence, a rapidly developing branch of computer science that makes it possible for computers to interact with human emotions.
