NUCLEAR POWER, CLIMATE CHANGE AND OUR FUTURE:
How big a deal is radiation?
with: Todd Cloutier
In partnership with Cascadia Climate Action

Growing evidence indictates that nuclear power will need to play a role in meeting the world’s increasing energy needs. Let’s put the risks of radiation from nuclear power in perspective. Is a small amount repeated over a long time as deadly as a large amount? How much radiation do we live with every day? Is it safe to live next to a nuclear power plant?

Bring your questions and concerns and hear from Todd Cloutier, who has a BS in Physics, MS in Mechanical Engineering and served as a US Navy Submarine Officer for 24 years with responsibilities that included the operation and maintenance of nuclear reactors. Cloutier also trained Navy radiation workers on radiation and contamination controls.
